<p>History is all around us in Riley County.</p>
<p>Before barbed wire was available or affordable, fences in this area were made of stone.</p>
<p>Looking down this fence row, you can see both the old stone fence, and the modern (although leaning) barbed wire fence.</p>
<p>This fence row is out toward the Stockdale area on the west side of Tuttle Creek Reservoir.</p>
