This is a picture of the sign at the entrance to Hope Ranch.

Hope Ranch is a therapeutic riding center located in rural Riley County. It is northwest of Manhattan.

I’ve known a couple of children who have enjoyed their experiences at Hope Ranch. They focus on individuals with various challenges and other “at risk” people.

You really ought to visit their website at www.hoperanchks.org.

Maybe we should take this as a reminder that there are people all around us who just need a loving and accepting person in their life.

Nope. This is not Mister Ed.

Farm animals of all types can be seen in Riley County. This Paint Horse was standing beside the fence one morning as I headed to work. It appears that he was wanting his picture taken!
